FAQ

Questions, Answered.

How much does a payroll service cost for a small business?

Ours starts from £25 a month plus £12.50 per employee a month. One employee, such as a director on payroll, comes to £37.50 a month; five employees come to £87.50 a month.

Do you handle workplace pensions?

Yes. Auto-enrolment runs alongside payroll: we assess staff, enrol eligible employees, calculate contributions and keep your pension provider updated.

Can you take over our payroll part-way through the tax year?

Yes. We bring across the year-to-date figures from your current provider so tax codes, totals and P60s are correct at year end.

Do I need payroll if I am the only director?

If you pay yourself a salary from the company, it needs to run through payroll and be reported to HMRC. We can set that up as part of looking after the company accounts.
